Just replaced an original set of 588's with the 588 forged satin wedge. The grooves finally wore out and I had to give in and replace. Quite simply, these are the best wedges made, with no exception. The transition was completely smooth to the new model with very little re-learning. Distance control and spin are excellent with the new wedges.
They are great in feel from 95 yards out to just around the green. They also look great at set up. They get a lot of spin on the ball. Two skips and the ball stops or spins backward. They are my favorite clubs in the bag.
Great Club. Already paid for itself with one of it's first 115 yard shoots with the chips down. More Birdies to come. Thank You
