Item realy is as described in official manual. With Motorola's MBP36S Digital Video Baby Monitor you can always have an excellent view on your baby, with that come's also sound clarity, so you will not miss little one's calling (or crying) when they need you. A 3.5-inch LCD colour display is big enough for monitoring, with 2x digital zoom enabled you really won't miss a thing. Infrared night vision is also commended for it's clarity. The manual says, that MBP36S Digital Video Baby Monitor has a useful range of up to 200 metres with an out-of-range warning, but i have tried it in my home surroundings and with antena on the top lifted, monitor had a useful range of nearly that distance. But with two concrete steel reinforced walls on the reception way, that was more than enough for me. The MBP36S also features two-way communication, so you can speak or sing to your baby remotely, but we use it mostly for communicating with a partner in the room, when either of us is checking the baby. There are also several other controls, which the one's who will buy this product will use with pleasure. Minus in this product is the battery, as it last's only some 5-6 hours, then it needs to be recharged. Still in my opinion, this is one of the best products on the market.Read full review

Having only had the intercom for a few days, it became apparent that the power lead was faulty. We now have to position the lead in a certain way to stand the best chance of it charging the battery. On a few occasions now, we have been woken up in the middle of the night to a bleeping battery... very frustrating given that we are woken up enough by our 20 month old son!! The screen has also frozen twice nice and makes a buzzing noise. Only way to rectify the issue is to wait for the battery to run out.....

Very easy to use, great manufacturing quality, very good range. The PTZ function is really useful. The night vision quality is also very good. Overall a very good product. Battery life, not so good but not a show stopper. If you switch off the screen it lasts for hours.

You get what you pay for here i guess... 50 quid gives you a fair quality picture and a good sound reception. However, the talk back is pi**-poor (even at a 6metre range)and the battery life is ...well after a full day's charge if you get more than 2 1/2 hrs you've done alright. There's a few other bits'n'bobs in the settings that are handy.... but a 'Summer Baby' this ain't!!!

Love this monitor although camera gets very hot while in use and when you put on the sounds it plays each one as you are picking and does not fade out, needs to be stoped by parent unit. Picture excellent, sound perfect, overall happy with purchase
