Reviewing the SKLZ Pro Mini Hoop Ball....first off this is my 3rd purchase of this item. They aren't built to last too long and it seems as tho they are getting hard to find. Last time I checked the SKLZ website was not online, so finding this item is becoming a bit difficult. Other than that this is an exact duplicate of the ball that comes with the entire SKLZ hoop set. It is a textured , somewhat spongy, rubber ball. I really wish there was a more 'pro' mini basketball, made from leather/synthetic leather, an actual mini replica of an NBA ball. I scoured the internet looking for something similar with no luck. I contacted Spalding , (the makers of the official NBA basketballs), hoping they would at least consider manufacturing such an item but received a 'no' as an answer. My search will continue but until I find a better replacement 'mini basketball' the SKLZ rubber ball will have to do.Read full review

You don’t have too much choices in what you buy for this typical indoor basketball hoop!!! After using it over a couple of months the ball starts forming bubbles on the ball.... I’ve bought two extra balls already not including the one that came with the indoor hoop that I bought about a year and a half ago! So my son went through 3 basketballs within a year and a half... Please make a more durable basketball because the hoop is awesome
