Clubs were in even better condition than expected. I purchased these in order to rebuild with upgraded shafts. They turned out perfect and I played them yesterday for the first time. I have 3 i series sets of irons now and these may be the best for my game.

I went from a set of titleist 990B's to these and they have made me a better player. I used to play more and had a 3 hc but I was playing less and needed clubs I didn't need to be at the driving range with everyday. These gave me more forgiveness without comprimising on distance. I'm not much for working the ball so that aspect didn't sway me in other reviews. I have still been able to cut the ball around trees though, the shaping just isn't as drastic with these. My game is at a point now where I just want to be confidant in my iron play and hit lots of greens, these clubs do that for me.
I've been playing a set of Callaway X-Tour forged irons for the past year, and have struggled to get consistent results out of them. I'm a 7 handicap, but I don't strike the ball in the center of the face often enough to produce predictable results. In the process of searching for the perfect set, I hit the Cleveland CG4 Tour, Ping S59 and S58 and the new Titleist AP1 (great set also). Finally, I figured I would give the Ping i10's a shot since I previously played the Ping ISI-nickels for 5 years and hit them well, and these seemed to be an upgrade to those. The difference being that my swing has changed significantly over that period of time, and there was a bit too much offset in the ISIs for my new swing. I had trouble working the ball and hitting my bread-n-butter shots. The i10 has less offset making it much more workable, but it's still a very forgiving iron. In fact, my misses are straight as a string, which I can live with. And to top it all off, the i10's have a much more attractive player's profile than any of the others I tried or played in the past. I've only played them for 1 week, but was -1 through the par 3's on a course that I usually expect to play them +1 or +2 (plus, it was a windy day). Definitely the most immediate results I've had out of any club change. By the way, if the AP1 irons had more of a player's profile (more like the AP2's), I might have given them more of a serious look. Tough decision between those and the i10's. It really came down to sticking with what I know worked for me previously. These are definitely great clubs for anyone 12 hc and under who isn't the best ball striker.Read full review
These are pretty easy to hit, pleasing to the eye, and like all Ping products are very well made. The i10's have less offset and have a little smaller head than the G series irons. I strongly recommend having a fitting session with your local pro before buying irons. Once you know the lie, shaft length, and appropriate flex for your set you can purchase irons that will allow you to reach your potential or at the very least, not hold you back. These Pings are an excellent option!
I have been playing pings for 15 years now and that will never change. They are top notch club manufacturers for when it comes to versatility, design and forgiveness. They have something for everyone high handicappers to professionals. I’ve played mainly the i series, various sets and I couldn’t be happier. Currently gaming the i20 irons and the G30 Driver with complete confidence. Highly recommended Golf Clubs!!! -Justin
