I used this motor controller with an 18 Volt DC chop saw. The saw came originally from the factory with just a simple on/off trigger switch, and I wanted to give it more control for sawing different types of materials. This little motor controller is perfect for this application. The speed range is very linear and smooth from zero to max RPM. My only criticism is I wish this controller would provide more power at the lower RPM portion of the speed curve. It's not horrible, but it could be a little stronger. For the unbelievable low price, I really cannot criticize it any more than that. It's really an awesome motor controller overall.
