I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. Actually I bought 2 of the same cameras for 2 granddaughters. I picked this camera because I have one like it as does my sister. It's a great camera for the price. It's small and easy to tuck away. Pictures are very good for a small camera. Only fault is that it doesn't take good in darker lighting conditions, but I guess you have to pay more to get that feature. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality.
After dropping my husband's M1033 on the bike trail, I set out to find a replacement camera. Figured it would be a good time to trade up. So I bought an M575. Hated it. It was a terrible camera. I ended up getting rid of it, and purchasing a new, returned C185 for cheap. That camera was ok, but I always LOVED the M1033. The one I dropped was still working, but starting to work intermittently, due to the cracked shell. I ended up finding a used one here on Ebay and am so happy I have the M1033 again. I just might be the point and shoot I stay with for a while. I want a DSLR eventually, but even if I got one, having this nice little gem in my purse and handy at all times is indispensable!
This was purchased as a gift for the son of Desmond T. Doss - featured in the movie of Hacksaw Ridge - a soldier who won the (Congressional) Medal of Honor in WWII without carrying a weapon. His son went to Okinawa (where the medal was earned) for the first time in his life in May 2019 and used this camera to record his trip. Delighted with the features of the camera. Thank you!

I haven't really used it yet cuz i need to find a cord to plug it in so i can charge the battery.As soon as i get a cord to charge the battery up i will be using this alot.Can't wait until i will get to use it all the time.
