This is a hard cover book and you must have the jacket with it because it too is wonderfully colorful. this book was one of the books I held dear in my younger years. it introduces folks to many fasinating sci-fi characters to the reader. anything from, the Great old ones from H.P. Lovecraft,to The Thing from the great John Carpenter movie. all illustrated by a fascinating artist.Barlowe I believe.just an excellent book.
This book is any Sci-fi junky best friend! The details and illustration get a grade A++. If you love science fiction and don't have this book in your collection you are missing out.
