I'm a certified welder and I have used a lot of different types of oils. I like T-9 for certain application's. The best qualities are it dries and leaves a thin film that last a good while. Once you have applied it, the product will repeal dirt and moisture very well. I haven't found a oil quite as good, although if I was asked to name another great oil for similar uses it would be Starret' s M 1 oil. Both are expensive but definitely worth the money! If you are considering by this product I would highly recommend it! I mainly use it on my steel tools to prevent rust. I hope this helps. Jason!,

I've tried quite a few other brands of chain oil, I wouldnt say all or most, I definitely have not tried the more "premuim" ones, but this is by FAR my favorite one. Quiets my chain like a wet lube, without attracting as much grime. I put a drop on each roller, back pedal, let it dry for 2 hours (per instructions) and wipe excess off.

Thin enough to get into the wear surfaces. After some drying it doesn't fly off. Doesn't attract dirt. Lubing every 200 miles my current chain has 4000 miles on it. I just wish they would go back to the old type of bottle they quit using several years ago. Chuck

This is the most fantastic chain lube product I've ever used. It cleans the chain as it lubes and never leaves a deposit residue. I've used other "dry lube" products, but always had to clean black, greasy residue at the next chain lube. With T-9 it's not necessary, the chain isn't full of black soot. I use this to lubricate all 4 of my high end bicycles and the trike.

I have used T-9 for many years. 'Knew about it in my areospace career years. Very good lube for any purpose that requires lube penetration and resistance to grime buildup. My bicycle chains last thousands of miles before replacement. I no longer have dust/dirt buildup that ruins the inner chain journals. Degrease the chain completely and allow drying. Drip each journal with T-9. Run the chain back and forth to allow penetration then dry overnight. Run a rag over the exterior chain. Reapply every 500 miles or so. Great for derailleur jockeys, brake pivots, cables and around the house and car. Dandy stuff!
