It's a very good quality product but I personally didn't like the design. The way the lever has to rotate to ring the bell was just too much of a reach of my hands.

I bought this for my 185 mile ride on the C&O Canal path in April. It's not real loud, but should give enough warning to walkers on the path. The black looks great on my black handlebars too! I highly recommend!

The Incredibell mounts easily on the handlebar and distinctive "ding-ding" warning.

In NYC, a bell is required equipment. And as with many bike components there is a very wide range of options in terms of price and quality. IMHO the Clever Lever hits the sweet spot for a budget bell. I've bought cheaper (the Original Incredibell); it didn't last the afternoon. One day I may spring for something fancier. But not today. The Clever Lever boasts a great design: you can trigger it with thumb or forefinger. And you can rotate the upper part of the unit for optimum placement. It rings twice ("Ding! Ding!") when you flick and release, in a relatively loud, clear and musical tone. It mounts securely to the handlebar with a Philips screwdriver, and comes with a rubber bushing to accommodate different bar diameters. Easy-peasy. And it's a friendly way to alert fellow cyclists and pedestrians to your presence.Read full review
