Perfect lightweight reusable coffee maker for camping or backpacking. No more instant coffee you can actually enjoy a good cup of your favorite brew. I use it without a paper filter but you can use it with one as well. Fits just about all size cups or mugs. I would make a few throwaway cups of coffee at first to season it and get rid of any manufacturing residues but after that you are good to go.

Very light and packable, works great. Just clip it to your cup, put in a paper filter (#2 or #4), add ground coffee, and slowly pour boiling water over the coffee. It's smaller, lighter, and easier than any other method I've tried (well, maybe cowboy coffee needs less equipment, but it's harder to get consistent results and you've got grounds at the bottom of your pot and cup to deal with), and fresh-brewed tastes much better than instant.

This little coffee maker is perfect for the hiker or biker. It's super lite. Easy to use. Inexpensive. I have used mine backpacking. I used a #2 cone filter with it. Worked great. If you want an 8 ounce cup of coffee, use around 2-3 spoon fulls of coffee and 9-10 ounces of boiling water. The grounds soak some of the water up. Moisten the grounds first, then gently pour the water on them. In a few minutes, you have coffee. Simple!
