I have to say this has made my bass fishing 10 times easier. I can re-tie or tie on new lures and not worry about the wind pushing me into the rocks because I'm not manning the foot pedal. I can control the trolling motor anywhere on the boat. It was the best thing I could of done was get the co-pilot. I highly recommend it to anyone that is a bass boat owner and fish in the northern CA Delta.

I like the CoPilot very much. The range of the remote is much more than the length of my boat - 16' and I can fish from anywhere on the boat and use the remote with no issue. It gives a little beep to let you know it "hears" you and is obeying your command. I've only been using it for a month and can't say how long it will last but right now I'm pleased. If it's like other Minn Kota equipment I'm sure it will work fine for a long time.

So far works great. Easy to install, program and use. Only slight issue is speed control. Wish the speed settings were a bit closer together. I troll a lot, seems the pre programed speed settings are just a bit too slow or a bit too fast. Outside of that, very Nice!!

This is an excellent replacement for my hard-to-operate foot petal control. Love the ability to bump the direction of the trolling in little increments instead of over-rotating with the clumsy foot petal. The incremental jumps in speed are just fine for me too. Wish I had found out about this product sooner. Only downside is the not-too-detailed instruction manual.
