I find the new switch for selecting brightness level a bit annoying,by holding it pressed it's very unlikely that you find your desired brightness at once...i preferred clicking through the levels.plus turbo mode is very tricky to get with this switch and can only be deployed with an IMR battery, and last the head gets very hot even at low brightness levels.

1800 lumen feature is useless on a flashlight this size with only one battery, it's called turbo mode and only lasts a few seconds then powers down two brightness levels! After that it's also overheated and wont let you go back to 1000 lumen. Very nice fit finish, nice ergonomics.

The 1800 Lumen flashlight was the best deal I could find as it came with 2 batteries that typically cost $22 each. The main drawback is the flashlight bulb and temperature get very hot – over 125°F – and are a potential injury hazard. I used 2 flashlights during my investigations and rotate use every 5 minutes or so to let them cool down. – Not Ideal.

Amazing flashlight. Anyone who normally carries a flashlight should consider carrying one of these. Flashlight is lightweight, well built and very sturdy. Multiple levels of brightness plus a strobe feature. Easy one hand operation.. Rechargeable battery(s) not included.

Works well. A little hard to get the choice of brightness with the switch. I need to get a belt holster because it turns on in my pocket. Doesn't stay on long in pocket because I notice the heat.
