I was looking for something compact and easy to use on the go. This is it. I love the WIFI feature and waterproof with no case. Great camera for an reasonable price.

It looks like a GoPro and works like a GoPro...but the image quality explains why it is 1/4 the price of a comparable GoPro (HERO 2). The 4K must be an "interpolated" 4K, because it does NOT look like a 4K image should...BUT...I did a side-by-side comparison (against a GoPro HERO 2, at 1080) and if you don't look too closely, some of the video footage (from the AKASO EK7000) had surprisingly better contrast and richer color than the HERO 2 (in daylight conditions). Image stability is non-existent. Setting the AKASO at 4K is still less image quality then the HERO 2 (set at 1080...since the HERO 2 does NOT shoot in 4K). The AKASO LCD display is helpful (for composing and monitoring). It came with ample accessories for above ground and underwater use. OVERALL...IF YOU'RE ON A BUDGET, it's worth the $70 selling price, as long as your image needs are not critical...BUT...you can find used HERO BLACK 7, 8, or 9 models for less than $200 and they are TREMENDOUSLEY BETTER SPORTS CAMERAS.Read full review

After reading reviews and watching video recordings on several different action camcorders, I decided to try the Akasa EK700 and I am not disappointed. The video it produces is of excellent quality. I used my action cam to record some fishing video and was glad I did as I caught a largemouth bass over 9 lbs and have it on a video. The attached video is the original video with no enhancements or digital editing except to cut out some portions to shorten the video. I did have the camera in the watertight case so the audio is barely recorded. Next time I will use the camera out of the case. The many attachments that come with the camera make just about any mount you might need. In order to be able to start recording with the remote anytime I wanted to, I turned off the power save so the camera would stay powered on but I did set the display save for 1 minute. The camera uses battery power when turned on, recording or not. I recorded a total of about 8-10 minutes of video and the battery lasted just over an hour. It is a good thing that a second battery is included. There is some distortion in the videos it produces, as is in all of the action cams of this type, but it is barely noticeable in the video I’m attaching. There are a number of free video editing programs that will correct the distortion. I downloaded Hit Film Express to do distortion correction. All in all, I am very pleased with my camcorder. For a fraction of the cost of a Go Pro, you get the same quality in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this action cam. Read full review

I bought 2 akaso ek7000 1 refubrished and 1 new(both in different times.) The new and the refubrished work the same , the refubrished was exactly like the new only had 1 tiny tiny tiny scratch near battery opener not even noticible. The cameras work great. The audio needs to be more better but that is akasos problem(not that god at audio but awesome video).

Super easy to setup and operate. Used it for recording fishing trips and the remote was a handy addition. Can't find a bad thing to say about this little gem after several months of heavy use!
