I had been using Windows-XP...then that laptop went "kaput". Purchased a new laptop with Win-7 because I knew I would require assistance to upgrade "my brain" as well as my laptop. This book has been a valuable source of info primarily due to the quantity of visual details and step-by-step details. The CD is helpful, but somewhat inconvenient to use...I rely on the book much more than that CD.
