I purchased these balls to practice putting and chipping. I don't like to practice with range balls because they do not react the same as regular playable golf balls. The balls that I purchased were very close to brand new and I would feel comfortable playing a round with them. There were no cuts, marks, bruises or bumps of any kind. The balls were actually better than described which was a pleasant surprise.

i will never buy or use a refurbished ball again. the new finish on the ball wears down quickly, and these refurbished balls do not have nearly the spin rate of a Pro V1 off the shelf. tossed them all into my shag bag. i also feel like the bidding on these balls was rigged, bids were coming in left and right and as soon as my bid went in, all others ceased with about 45 minutes left. i will be more selective on what i buy and who i buy it from in the future.

JD: a senior golfer with an 8 hdcp. and play an average of four times/week. Been testing a variety of balls to find one that has really good "feel" around the greens w/o sacrificing any distance. The Pro V1 was the last on my list (primarily due to cost). As a result, I decided to buy a dozen 5A/Mint recycled balls to try first. From the first hit I could tell the difference in contact - the Pro V1's were/felt very soft and really little resulted in little contact noise. As for distance, on my best swings/contact the Pro V1's compared favorably with many of the "distance only balls". However, when comparing them on most of my average/more normal swings with "distance balls", the Pro V1's did end up about 10 yds. shorter. On approach shots, around the green and while putting, there is no question that the Pro V1's were the best I have found....where others hit and ran, the Pro V1's stopped. In summary, I would say that if (1) money were not a concern, (2) you already hit for distance, (3) your short-game is a major liability to your game AND (4) you play competitively (at any level, even for beers), I would suggest that you give the Pro V1's a try. As for my personal ball analysis, I think I will stay with the Titleist Velocity. It gives me the best distance with above average feel around the greens (not the best, but better than most). Lastly, for seniors that want a quality ball that gives you some extra distance and reasonable feel, I suggest that you try the Velocity for a round. Hope this helps....Read full review
The color of many of these are not perfect but the condition is flawless. I can see scuff marks on some but can't feel them. Balls play as if they've never been used before. I normally use DT Solo or Nike MOJO. I found a few Titleist Pro V1 in the past and have played them. I find that they are an excellent ball. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend buying reconditioned Pro V1 if you want to test them out before spending more money for brand new.
These balls were in brand new condition, and I have found that my shots go a lot straighter using these as opposed to other Titleist, such as NXT Extreme. These were also a very good value.
