The quality and set up of this gorgeous instrument (ibanez mikro)is still blowing my mind. I personally own many high end guitars and this is every bit the same quality of a mim fender, an ibanez 400 series or better, or ltd 400 series or better, which is incredible. Gigging quality for small hands and short arms. A real instrument that will inspire instead of discourage. Don’t waste your time and money with a nylon string/classical guitar for a beginner child. Get one of these and set them up for success, I can’t stress this enough. Ty Ibanez!!. Photo is of a 3.5yo boy holding his new ax for size reference.

Short scale with a pro feel. With the stock strings, I tuned to G initially, the light strings wouldn't keep E tuning due to insufficient string tension at the 22.2" scale. After I switched to 10's the guitar tuned and intonated E A D G B E fine. The frets are slightly smaller spaced than a full scale, it's like having another option presented for more playing styles. Being it's an Ibanez, the quality and feel are spot on. It's not plainly advertised, but the 5 way switch includes two positions for coil splits, a real plus at the price. I highly recommend this fine little axe.

I sifted through as much info as I could get on the guitar and never found how big it was.... it is quite small. But nevertheless, still has great action and very nice.
