overall the bass is great, it did have one factory flaw that had to be corrected and is a major one considering one of the features of the bass is lost. the issue with the bass is the chrome plated brass nut had to be changed because the slot under the G string was cut way to deep making the g string rest on the frets. the only thing keeping it off of hte strings was some buildup of the chrome plating in the groove on the nut which fell off when i changed the strings on it. so now the feature of it having a chrome plated brass nut is out the window because the nut had to be replaced and you cant just get a chrome plated brass nut for the traben bass.
