I dropped my Schecter P5 bass guitar in just the perfect way for the tone knob to catch the edge of a cabinet and shear off the pot's shaft. This pot was the perfect size to fit in the small routing in the bass. The positioning of the pot lugs and DPDT switch lugs is the same as the original pot, so wiring it and installing the cap was easy. Bass is back in operation quickly and cheaply.

I installed this on the bridge tone pot and used it to provide 7 way switching on my MIM Strat. This has a solid click when active and it provides two additional sound/pickup options not available with standard five way switch. I also upgraded the stock volume and the neck tone pots with Bourns pots. I like Bourns pots better than CTS because they feel smoother, more responsive, and are available in low friction and high friction models.

I purchased this to replace what I thought was a good priced deal. Wrong. Putting these in a Strat is a special pain. So you don't want to have to do it over again because of a poor quality product. As you know, you get what you pay for. I'm happy with this one. Should last as long as these should under normal gig conditions.

Bourns Pus/pull pots are the best in my opinion. They have nice resistance both in the sweep and the switch. Tight tolerances and well constructed. I use them all the time.

I'd broken a CTS push pull and wanted to try the competition. I ordinarily don't like mini pots, and thought I'd misordered when I received this item. Once I realized I hadn't, I wired it in and was pleased with the extra room in the guitar cavity. I still prefer 24mm pots, but I'm pleased so far with this 18mm push pull.
