The mixer is very good, the Digital signal processor is good, not great, with about 15 preset sounds that are o.k. and not very wide in their expression. Controls are laid out well like a high quality mixer and power is good (2000W is somewhat misleading) but most musicians know it is the 400 W per channel RMS specification is what is important, not the peak power. For the money, this is an EXTREMELY Good value... and difficult to beat. Especially when you consider that a cost for an estimate is in the $100.00 range or more..

For the price good mixer. Power rating may be a little off but for what I need it does the trick. I use it to run a sub on one channel and mix a keyboard amp and power speaker on my keyboard set up just to accommodate sounds for myself at the church and still have channels for mics if I choose.

very easy to use and good sound for the price. I use it in a small practice studio because its much more convenient than my gig mixer. works as well as some of the 300$ mixers out there

This mixer-amp works fine, and has good features for the price. I had to turn the trim control all the way up to get enough gain for good volume. 2000 watts? Uh, I don't think so. However, I don't have a way to actually test the specs, so your mileage may vary. As far as the sound quality, it will be just fine for most gigs. I probably wouldn't use it for serious recordings or large venues. Accept a few limitations, and for the price, you'll be happy. I've paid the same for a mixer alone without the amplifier section, so if you're on a budget, this will work for you.

Received quickly, priced great, quality is great, packaging is good. This is a complete 4 channel Powered Mixer. This means that the unit mixes down audio and has a built-in Power Amplifier to directly drive speakers. It features a USB/SD reader that can play prerecorded sound, with a certain amount of control: Select Last Track, Next Track, Pause, OFF. The Power Amplifier would be hard pressed to generate 2000w as advertised. More like 100w per channel into 8ohm speakers, so this is not a large-house system, but perfectly matched for 200 audience presentation/show. All the sliders are a bit rough (new). The four inputs can be Balanced Hi-Z (XLR) or Single-Ended Low-Z (1/4" Mono). All four inputs can drive either L-R buss or PFL buss individually. Each input can be bussed to either Left or Right side (or any % split) by pot. Each channel has its own trim to keep the source peaks manageable, and two (hi, low) tone control pots to contour each input. Each channel can be individually enabled onto the Effects bus. There is 48v phantom power for those condenser mics that require it, but the Phantom power will be inject into all four Balanced (XLR) inputs at the same time with one pushbutton switch, so mixing different input mic types may not work out so well. There is an effects buss with 16 push button effects (gadget) and slider input control. There is a minimal output buss equalizer (5 frequency points), and a Left/Right LED VU meter. There is an independently adjustable headset output jack (1/4" Stereo) that can monitor either the L-R buss or PFL buss. There is an Aux In/Out pass through (1/4" Stereo), a Left/Right Driver out for external amplifier (1/4" Mono), and Left/Right Record level outputs (RCA). On the back of the unit is the power cable connector, Master power switch and Left and Right Powered Audio Outputs to speakers. There is an Left and Right Hi-Z Balanced Main Output (XLR) for an external Amplifier. The unit is equipped with a cooling fan that is not too noisy. All in All, a Good Pull for your money. Now the Gotchas: 1) The Record Level Output (RCA) are not a fixed buss output, but are controlled by the Master Output Sliders, which means any change that you make to the output sliders, will show itself on the record Level Buss and force you to have to go adjust your external recording device. Way inconvenient - designers should have known better. I use this system for recording presentations as well as sounce reinforcement, and this Record Out foible is a pain in the neck. The Record Level output should have been AGC-fixed to the output buss and present a single level out. 2) The speaker outputs are separated into Left and Right outputs and can connect to the speakers in one of two ways. One is through 1/4" Mono plug and (surprisingly) the other is through industry standard SPEAKON two pole Male connector (see attached). Nothing in the Users Manual about SPEAKON connectors. Once assembled, they are actually twist-on connector. Pretty sturdy and pretty fool proof and pretty expensive. 3) The Users Manual is close to useless. Clearly written by folks whose first language is NOT English. But then, I can't read Chinese, so it is nice to have something. If you are a newbie to audio, then you will be spending some time on Google to figure some of this stuff out. The good news is that the board layout and nomenclature is the same as the more expensive spread of Mixers: Yamaha, Behringer, Mackie, etc, so finding a better guide is possible.Read full review
