This was a great buy for the money. The blemish on the back is a hole that has been punched in during shipping. However does not affect the town and no one can see it while you're playing. It feels nice and plays well. I've always loved Dean guitars and this is no exception.

I spent a lot of time setting this bass up. For the money it is hard to beat and it sounds good. Can't compare it to a Martin, for instance. But if you are reasonable and looking for something that sounds good, to quickly play something, then you'll be happy.

For and entry level acoustic bass guitar it works really well, easy to play, good tone, and stylish. Worth the money.

I got this face and set it up with my own set of strings with a high C and then jammed with and another acoustic guitar and a guy playing electric at low volume it kept up just fine. I would say that the internal Electronics put out a pretty weak signal but I'm okay with that considering the price I can always put a Fishman in it if I want but this sound quality with phosphorus bronze strings on sounds great better than others that I have played

The guitar had bad fretts. They would have to file them down. About 200.00 No thank you. Bad guitar from right out of the box.
