Great Guitar at a great price
Wonderful right out of the box. Only needed to retune it, and I was good to go. It has a super smooth neck that is very comfortable when standing or sitting. The pickups are very sweet and angry, lol and the weight is just right that it doesn't wear you down after an hour or 2. Very well finished. A real beauty all the way. Don't hesitate, get one asap, you'll love it.

Great Guitar, especially for metal.
This review if for the fixed bridge model, but I suspect the floyd version is just as good. You don't need a more expensive guitar than this to play metal well. This guitar is pretty perfect and plays great for any level of playing in any tuning, standard, to way low. It even tunes way down like a 7 string really well with thicker strings. You might not even need a seven string to get you started, unless you need that 7th high string for some reason. The frets are accurate and the neck is fast and comfortable; not too thin or fat. It is slightly chunkier than some previous thin U necks from a few years back. NOT overly thick at all, but just big enough not to hurt your hands or feel uncomfortable if the older necks were too thin and awkward... To me, they were too thin from side to side and a little thick from frets to back (the mh-1000's with the silly looking abalone binding). In person, the see-thru black models look pretty dark and black from a distance. Most of the advertising pictures online make it look brighter and more gray than it does in person. The see through effect is kind of muted, but it still looks awesome. The smoky black hardwear is really nice. I rate this guitar a 5 star because it's just right in every aspect for what it is. I don't think you can get a better guitar for under $1000 to play metal. Even at over $1000, this guitar provides stiff competition. The real esp models may offer a little better quality, but even at 2x or 3x the price, you are splitting hairs. I wouldn't recommend one unless you've been playing for a long time and just want the real deal. This guitar will get you there just the same.Read full review

Amazing Guitar
For the price you can't find a better guitar with more features. Active pickups make this thing scream and the rosewood fretboard is ultra smooth. Came fully intonated and tuned out of the box. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Now hopefully ESP sends me the case they promised due to their holiday promotion.
