Realizing what you are purchasing, which is a mini FM radio, this is a good little radio. This little Sony has tuned into my favorite station which is at times not easy to do on other radios. The sound quality for the size is good. It does not have a big base tone, but for this price you are getting a portable radio with decent tone. It is not tinny. This is perfect for small areas, like a bathroom counter!
