G-granddaughter and her similar age male cousins love this. I have a similar item at my home for when babysitting. All the kids from 5-12 play with it a lot. This is second only to the Wii in their choice of toys. Boys mostly use pieces to build garages/ ramps for cars or structures for superhero play. Girls build houses, Doc McStuffin office, beds/chairs for 11" dolls and superhero play structures.
