A well written and acted storyline about the devil taking an extremely extended vacation on Earth and vexing his family of supernatural beings. Every primary and immediate secondary character is well portrayed and with enough variety to the characters to make the viewer remember them fondly when telling about the series (or an episode) without having to stretch their memory. While Season One ended with the enigmatic cliffhanger of "Someone has escaped from Hell. Mum.", Season Two leaps into the concerns of the Mother Of All Creation being loose on the planet. And while the overall seasonal story arc is gripping, lesser story moments are equally impressive. An assassin demon going trick or treating. All the female members of the story going on a bar crawl. Meeting The Supreme Being in a mental institution. An angel finding out how his father feels about him. This writing, as well as gorgeous shooting locations and fight scenes, gives us a highly inventive and appreciated series. Highly recommended.Read full review

I fell in love with this show when it debuted and the love affair only gets better. season 1 was a must see and have as a dvd collection. season 2 is also a must have and ebay had a super price beating all the competition. the acting is superb, the writing amazing and tom ellis does all Welshmen proud as Lucifer Morningstar.

My husband and I really enjoyed this program. We recently saw the first episode from season one at my brothers house and tried to watch programs playing now (season three). We had difficulty understanding the characters so decided to purchase season one and two on dvd to watch before watching any more season three episodes. We watch all the episodes over four days and were hooked. Understand that this is entertainment and not accurately portraying the bible and be prepared to hear Lucifer trash talk God. This is not a program to watch with young children around because of sexual and drug references.
