I recently purchased this bow after my quad 400 blew apart at the riser. Barnett refused to honor the warranty but offered to fix the bow for 150$ plus shipping. Since I literally spent an hour on hold with Barnett just to find that out I figured it would be faster and more cost effective to buy this brotherhood recurve. While I was hesitant to buy another Barnett bow the many other positive reviews convinced me it was worth a try. Also it was cheap and was compatible with $200+ accessories I had from my busted bow. The other reviews were spot on. The bow is light, accurate, relatively quiet and economical. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to harvest a small buck at 22yrds with a complete pass through. That being said, I feel the bow is under powered for longer shots. In my opinion it's just too slow for hunting over 25yrds, there is too much time for the target to move and make what looked to be a good shot into a bad one. No one enjoys wounding game. However, that is up to the shooter. It's a great starter bow and worked well for me as a short range hunter.Read full review

Well the good all parts and pieces there and shipped very quickly. The questionable always seem to have to resight even though I check to make sure the sight is mounted securely and in pic it had writing on the limb not on the limb I received is it a real barnett limb? The recommended bolts are pricey. The bad the sight that came with died after turning it on to check it out the second time I tried it would not light up, thankfully had a truglow red dot I had on something else to put on it. Recommend the cheap 20" carbonexpress from big w store they seem to work fine for it good groupings.

I am a first time cross bow user and this was a brand new crossbow(I suppose) and it has no manual . I would give it 5 stars if I had not had to look on line to figure out how to assemble and shoot it. So far it works well.

After a shoulder injury I had to give up my bow. I wanted a lighter weight bow for target practice and just for fun. This bow is a great buy and performs outstanding. Consistent 2" groupings at 40-50 yards. And light enough for my grandson.

This is my first crossbow and wated something compact and easy to use. Arrived fast, assembly is required but easy. Also ordered a barnett cocking device. Got my hands on a target rated for a crossbow and took my first shot, sighted in the 3 dort scope and bullseye. I really like it. Would be effective for hunting with alot of practice .
