AT 40 watts it sounds pretty loud. I like it because it's perfect as a desktop b/t speaker. It's small enough to fit in my backpack and it sets up nice and quick. I like that it says my b/t is connected and when power is turned off. I can't say much for the radio, I haven't been able to find a station here in LA area. Any hoot, overall I like it and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something small and compact....as well as the price, it's just right!!

Excellent Sound Quality & Great Volume from such a small package! My unit gets ZERO FM Stations?? even using the cord (as an antenna). Living 1/2 way between Seattle & Tacoma Plenty of Stations are available! My example also has trouble pairing with the BlueTooth function. Works fine using AUX Inouts OR the micro SD card for music. One Terrible "Feature" Anytime you Power On the unit it Comes Up Playing music at 70% Full Volume!! And takes a moment to turn Down to a normal listening level. Especially if it's close up on a desk or night stand. The Sound is excellent, but most other features are Bad or Iffy at best on mine. Given this: You may want to try another model / brand??

Cheap garbage. Wish i'd spent the extra money and gone for a JBL
You get what you pay for. I was tricked into believing this was a 40 watt speaker, but it's a 15 watt speaker that can go into clip at a maximum of 40 watts - and it performs like a 10 watt speaker. It's not very loud, and even more annoying it seems to have a battery save feature that turns off the output when there is no audio, then it takes a sec to turn the output back on when the audio resumes. So if you are watching a video that has no background noise and the person pauses, the audio cuts out so when the person starts talking again, it takes a second to for the speaker to resume functional output. Pay cheap garbage prices, you get cheap garbage products. This thing belongs on the shelf at a dollar store. Don't waste your money.

Great product, excellent sound. Battery life is also fantastic. But my only major complaint is that this thing is way too loud when your phone rings while connected to it. It sounds like a freaking fire alarm!
