Great functionality and decent quality!
It does what you expect it would do. Very nice hub with on and off switches. The lights however are quite intense and can get very distracting. The build quality doesn't feel amazing, but that's expected with the price that came with it. The usb cable is also pretty short as seen in the picture so it could be an inconvenience for some. Overall, I highly recommend this cheap hub if you are looking for one.It does what you expect it would do. Very nice hub with on and off switches. Poor Quality
When I first got this some of the on/off switches were turned off so I turned them on and one of them broke and fell inside the unit. Then when I plugged it into my computer and hooked up a USB device I got a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death). It crashed my Computer and could have potentially harmed it. I would really not recommend using these on a PC. Use them on a AC wall outlet USB adapter, but don't use them on your computer or you might damage it. Exactly what the title says, however there is one super important issue to address, without external power functionality is greatly reduced, you can hardly get away with a single device at a time, however, providing a 5v adapter of at least 1 amp fixes most issues, BUT, there's a huge issue to resolve immediately once you have an appropriate power adapter, THIS HUB BACKFEEDS POWER BACK INTO THE MOTHERBOARD! there is A FIX. You'll need to open the unit, cut the red wire from the USB connection to the motherboard, problem fixed, though you'll always need it plugged in (which you would anyways). After that quick mod, is an excellent device for the price. The light associated with the 1st port does not work - all other functions of the USB Hub work perfectly... While connection to the 1st port allows connection between a peripheral device and the computer, the light associated with the position is suppose to light when in the "ON" position and off when in the "OFF." position. Great for charging multiple electronics
A very versatile usb multi port power strip to charge multiple electronic devices such as phones,book readers, flashlights, bicycle lights that are set up to charge by a USB cord.
