I saw this iron on a YouTube video. I'm doing small piece freezer paper applique and the iron looked to be handy for this technique. The YouTube person can still use it better than me but with practice it will become more handy. The head can be in four positions. A review said iron was uncomfortable to hold. I don't think so but why would it be used with handle straight up, maybe someday I'll find a use for this position. I have a large hand and it fits well in my grip. It has a built-in stand but it can be laid on it's side without burning anything. I took a picture of the indicator light and it can be seen across the room. Nice feature. I bought used, thank you seller, because I would never pay full price for this iron. The last picture is my go to iron for freezer paper applique but on larger simple pieces such as bias stems it's handy. I also find the small size handy for use with a seam roll inside a small opening. Yes, I made my seam roll. Every seamstress needs one and fun to make. Again I find this iron five stars over all but only because I didn't pay full price. The starch does burn on the plate but easy to clean off with a wet sponge. That is all. Denise I only use 4th setting for cotton. Easy to set temperature and beeps when hot. It does shut off when idle for several minutes. Nice safety feature and it's very clear when it's off and even little light remains on. For some reason the head is adjustable but for the life of me I have no idea why. Read full review

I use this press to iron HTV into hats. It gets into small corners much better than a regular iron. It gets hot quickly and has adjustable heat. I also use it to iron small width ribbon details. Works great.

I am hoping to use this little iron when applying heat transfer vinyl from my Circuit machine designs. Im not sure if it gets quite hot enough but I am hoping I can use it for hats and tight corners. I've used it once so far but I think I need to do some more experimenting with it.

Perfect for ironing the ribbons and threads for needlepoint. So many of the ribbons and fiber that I use for needlepoint are folded and need to be straightened to get good stitch definition. This little iron is perfect. I use one of the wool mats and it sits right on my work table at the ready. Highly recommend. Would probably be good for travel too to iron out the creases.

I use this iron for turning under the edges on my appliqué. Use a craft brush dipped in starch to stiffen the edges, then use this little wonder to press the edges under. *So* much easier to use than a big iron!
