    A must to keep your great but older light meter working! Since the "banning" of Mercury batteries my Gossen Luna Pro light meter has sat in a drawer as my cameras now all use their own internal light meter, however, I acquired a long telephoto lens recently and discovered to my dismay that it can only be used in completely manual mode PLUS the internal light meter doesn't function. So, I looked for the battery adapters on Ebay and found these. Very well made in solid brass, the outside is the same shape as the old mercury batteries and it takes the modern LR44 or A76 cells. inside and becomes a complete replacement! Not only well made, but very cheap!

    Vintage nostalgia lives on

    As the saying goes, "better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it". Makes my fantastic antique Rollei 35 more than a just beautiful novelty paperweight when it can at least basically meter exposure for film which I rarely shoot but you never know when the next film opportunity does arrive, so at least I'm ready with fully "functioning" camera. Also if I ever 'gift' pass-on the camera, it isn't a lame-gimp equipment and hopefully it'll have another lease on life. This battery adapter is a bit expensive especially for something I probably wont use a lot but it is high quality made and it works. (I’ve thought this opinion through, tested for what works for me, your needs and results may differ.)

    These MR-9 adapters work perfectly for my needs and usage. (no built-in voltage dropping circuit)

    I use these two MR-9 battery adapters in a 1970s Canon EF model 35mm camera. This camera happens to have a voltage regulator, so that I do not need to find and use expensive and short lasting zinc air 1.35V batteries, or buying a pricey adapter with built-in voltage reducing circuitry. Modern silver oxide 1.5V batteries work fine in my camera, and these adapters allow a perfect fit of these easily available batteries into the EF camera body's two battery compartments. These adapters are extremely well made, and should last essentially forever.

    Great adapter for using 1.35v zink air batteries.

    This item is a perfect fit for using 1.35v Zink air button cels in your old camera equipment. I did make a small improvement by grinding small slots with my Dremel on the underside of the adapters for better air circulation as I had to stack two in my Lunasix Pro lightmeter. Before doing the slots, one of the two batteries was not getting anough air and so would not get to the proper voltage. Hense the four stars.

    Camera battery adapter

    This is what's needed if you have a lot of old camera's like me this adapter makes the newer little 1.5 volt hearing aid batteries fit into older 35mm film cameras that take the old mercury 1.3 volt ones not made anymore. it took a little while to get because it came from Vietnam to USA but worth it
