This is a great value for the price. It has a nice parabolic bend when fully extended. There’s no line and lure rating but I’d say it can handle 4-8lbs mono and lures anywhere from 1/16-3/8 oz adequately. The only negative thing i can say about this rod is the sharp edges around the reel seat. It can be a bit uncomfortable to grip but that can be remedied by wrapping some grip tape around the handle after the reel is installed. Overall, a nice rod to take on vacation or just leave in the car or truck should you come across fishy waters and get the itch to make a few casts.

Rod looks and feels great. First time I pulled it out to use the last eye came off. Super glued it back on though. Otherwise not bad.

These poles are absolutely the best for motorcycle outings that have fishing as part of the ride. They are well made, and light. All sections retract into the handle for easy transport in a saddlebag, tour pack or tank bag. I have used these poles for trout fishing in a Idaho. They make a 1 pound trout seem like a 5 pound bass. I have yet to have one fail.

When I bought this item it shows rod and reel. I guess the fine print was reel not included. Wernig read the add before clicking send it to me.

The first pole broke 1 week later Whal I was fishing. Not a very good deal and fishing pole was longer than it was suppose to be.
