    Good Mic Stand

    This is a very good mic stand at a very good price. I have trouble finding heavy duty mic stands that feel like they will resist getting knocked over. I am afraid they just don't make them at reasonable prices. This stand also seems light. I have a little trouble keeping the screw and washer tight that keep the mic from rotating but I am still getting used go it. The boom arm is not back-weighted. So heavy mic's can pull the stand forward if you are not careful. But, again, every stand I see for less than $100+ seems to have the same problems. All things considered this seems to be one of the best stands available in its price range,

    A barely usable Mic Stand. I wonder if they'll refund my money?

    The "Telescoping Microphone Stand Stage Studio Holder Clip Tripod Instrument", as it is titled in the product eBay advertisement, is very lightweight. It is not a very functional Microphone Stand due to the fact that it falls over quite easily. The stand can not be trusted with an expensive microphone. It is too flimsy for the studio, in my experience, and the thought of bringing it onstage is completely out of the question. It would fall over. I would not recommend buying this product, unless you are going to set up a microphone within 5 feet of the ground and leave it set up permanently in place. Under those conditions it is very inexpensive.

    should have expected....

    I thought I was getting a great deal when in fact I found out that these mike stands can be built really really cheap! Not blaming anyone but myself. I should have known. This thing won't last a week let alone a month... Do yourself a favor and spend the $30-$80 needed to buy a quality stand. Again, I only blame myself....

    Excellent for the price

    Great stand for my in home studio. Sturdy, durable and compact. Excellent value for the money. Haven't traveled at all with it. It seems like it would be rugged enough to handle some road use though.
