Good Product, Maybe? Poor Documentation - ZERO TECH Support
Beware, no available US based installer/support network. You can't find a single US dealer advertising they handle this product! This product advertises all the right great features promising full installation instructions and although the advertising is written in good English, the installation instructions are written in the typical poorly translated Chinese/English. They need to spend the few extra dollars to have a real US installer re-write their installation instructions in an accurate format. The installation/tech support they claim to offer consists of re-sending you the same poorly written documentation. If you ask for specifics on how the circuits work on their unit so you can properly attach to your vehicle, they cannot answer, they just re-send you the same unclear ... Beware, no available US based installer/support network. You can't find a single US dealer advertising they handle this product! It is clear that although they claim they will help you with any questions you have that they can't even install their own product since they are unable to answer the most basic questions,especially when their poorly written documentation contradicts itself. The documentation has blurry unclear schematics for wiring options that even they do not understand because if you ask them to clarify they will tell you to "just follow the instructions", the ones you can't clearly see due to their poor quality. Their "support" then consists of telling you if you can't install it to look on the internet and figure it out or hire a professional installer. I have been a top "hands-on" PC technician specializing in hardware & software installation and troubleshooting for over 20yrs and have also installed car alarms and stereo's in the past. However due to poor documentation and the LACK OF ANY PROMISED TECH SUPPORT this unit remains uninstalled and unable to be used. This may be the greatest unit ever, however I would not advise anyone buying it even if they are going to use a "professional installer" because I consider myself a professional technician and they cannot/will not even provide basic Q&A support for me to get it installed.

Buy this over a DEI product any day
I will start out by saying that this product is not easy to install for the amateur. It may seem simple to just connect ignition wires, but you will be splicing into the central locking wires, tach wire, brake light, parking light, door trigger, trunk release, etc. If you are comfortable with a multimeter, your vehicles wiring, and have good knowledge of relays and diodes however, you should be able to install this yourself. For the price I was wary of the quality but after opening the unit up and inspecting the board, the quality of the soldering looks great and they are using name brand components on the board. I would expect this to be as reliable as anything from DEI or compustar. I purchased this for a 1998 BMW 540i with a manual transmission. As I was taking a road trip in the ... As I was taking a road trip in the winter, I wanted to add remote start capability. For manual transmissions, many remote starters make you "reserve" remote start by keeping the vehicle running, putting the car in neutral, and shutting down the car via the key. That way it is safe to start from the key fob next time. This requires adding another fob to the keychain and I was not keen on this. This product fit my needs perfectly as it was able to replace my original key fob for keyless entry and served as a PKE fob for starting the car via the start button. The fobs are even able to store a physical key for backup purposes. So far, I have used in cold weather (20 F) and it has functioned reliably and as expected. I expect it to continue doing so for many years as well. I am certain many problems with this unit would be due to installer error. I cannot stress that you should not attempt to install this yourself unless you are very comfortable with automotive wiring.

Good little device
The device is build well, comes with all the wiring needed. Took a couple days to complete the install. While the diagrams are accurate the English translations are somewhat to be desired. For anyone buying this, hook the "blue oil pump wire" to one of the (+) outputs of your fuel injectors. It has all the features I wanted but there is one I was disappointed it did not have; the ability to exit the car while it is still running and have the system shutoff the engine if the car door is opened or the brake depressed if the fob is "out of range" (essentially, anti-theft.) So, if I run away from my car after I've started it with the push button, someone can just jump in and drive it away. This can be prevented with the anti-hijack feature, but then you simply cannot run into a ... The device is build well, comes with all the wiring needed. Took a couple days to complete the install. As a workaround, you can shut the car down and start by remote once the fob is out of range. I found if the car was started with the FOB any attempt to press the brake without the fob in range shut it down. Other than that, I am enjoying this device. The remotes come with spare key blades pre-cut to fit inside each remote as a spare key. None of them matched my car. I was however, able to get my keys cut locally and I used a Dremmel to cut the blade to fit the fob. The little screws provided are useless for securing it, wound up using epoxy resin. The shape of the fob cover however, makes using the spare a little cumbersome. Friendly reminder to those looking to buy, this is not a plug and play install. You will be cutting wires and disconnecting your factory ignition switch. Best you know your vehicle wiring well, and be ready to do proper testing to ensure no bad wiring.
