I cannot be more pleased.
I like to listen to to the radio (FM) in the morning while I wash up and I have tried more than a few, always plugged in (not on batteries). Until now, none could clearly or easily pull in one of my favorite stations. The Jensen even pulls in a station over 90 miles away, with a steady signal (I wonder if it has AFC built in rather than an option...). I discovered this on a unit I picked up cheap at the Goodwill store and that's when I bought this new one. I wish it were digital, but that's not a criticism! A good digital radio is far more expensive than the Jensen. I cannot be more pleased.

The radio is simple, easy to manage, has decent sound but the auxiliary input jack does not work if you plan to use head/ear phone jacks or connect to some other device. Other than that, it is lightweight and the reception is decent. There is no stereo sound. You will need to use stereo headphones if you want stereo.

Worth the price for the take-it-with-you retro radiophile
This radio offers convenience of use with battery op or AC plug in. If you like your technology retro this is for you, a throwback gadget you can tote around the house or anywhere. Sound quality is good and tuning is a breeze. I didn't expect receiver to pull in a suburban FM station I like--and it didn't--though that's no biggie with the wealth of options on the Chicago dial. I'm glad I took the plunge and picked this up to replace a $10 radio turning fragile in its old age, which still operates after 10 years. That one had the weight advantage, though. Its "AA" batteries added much less weight than the "C"'s this model runs on.
