When I ordered this chopper I could not wait to get it. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I tried to cut an onion I cut it in quarters I firmly close the lid to dice the onion . I tried a second time it would not cut the onion even when I almost slammed the lid down still it did not cut the onion. I would not buy this item again. If I had kept the box I would have sent it back. I give it no star
