I love the way that this bass feels. Nice smooth neck, properly balanced and sounds fantastic! Easily as good or better than most American Fender basses, definitely better than ANY MIM Fender Bass, even the Roadworn series. They don't make these anymore...what a shame! The American Standard is the new version, but no nitro finish (which looks great, btw). HIghly recommended! I have no would have no problem buying another one of these, maybe the Precision version. GREAT BASS!!!!

Very nice bass, Dimarzio noiseless pickups sound good, Schaller bridge nice and Hipshot tuners nice as well. Plays well, was a good buy.

Great bass. Being primarily a guitarist the Fender jazz highway one bass neck fits perfectly into my hand. The body has an openness about it due to the thin nitro finish.
I have many basses, HWY 1 is my go to bass..Amer. made 2006 60TH Best tone My 60th Came with the B.A. Bridge. Sounds better then a Getty any day of the week!!!

It was affordable, made in USA. Although my favorite Telecaster is MIM. I polished out the paint since the Hiqhway One guitars have a satin finish. Lightweight and resonate.
