Psycho Fox is yet another in a long line of excellent Master System Platformers. It's style of platforming is very different from the likes of Mario, being more momentum based. Psycho Fox takes a while to get his speed up, but once he does, he really flies. This can be difficult to get used to, but once you do, this game is a real joy to play. The transformation element, allowing you to transform into a fox, hippo, monkey, or tiger, is interesting, but is not utilized enough throughout the game. Even then, this is a very colorful game that is challenging enough to keep you playing, but not so hard that it is frustrating.
Psycho Fox is indeed a great game. The game is not easy but I think anybody can pick it up. The ability to change into different animals is a plus.
