This is without a doubt a product that is better suited for fans of this commonly overlooked franchise by acclaimed game producer Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid). This one disk bungle offers two completely remastered games full with:fast passed robot battles, memorable foes and a highly stylized cut scenes. The original gameplay remains untouched, which can be comforting if you are acquainted with the controls, but the passing of time may prove clumsy to new players, especially in the first installment of the series (Zone of the enders). On the flipside the sequel: Z.O.E The second runner is from the start a well polished gem, with most of the original game quirks well rounded and presented in stunning cell shaded graphics and amazing sound quality. (Do expect a slight decrease in frame rate in some of the more crowded battles) But overall you will be highly pleased to experience these games again and take full pleasure in their well executed HD re-release. a nice HD collection. Both games look incredibly good in HD and Frame rate is consistent. only problem is the 2nd runner completely overshadows the 1st game in which was pretty meh clocking in less than a pitiful 5 hours for me to complete, incredibly repetitive mission objectives, basic story with terrible voice actors, and only 3 enemy types.My only positives are the boss battles(although last one kind of sucked) , good overall gameplay, good hd graphics, and versus mode can be fun. however playing 2nd runner, it's hard to ever go back to the 1st one cause 2nd runner is so much better every aspect. overall if you're buying this you're buying it for 2nd runner as the 1st one only good for one playthrough and trophies
This is Kojima at his best. Wish a new ZOE would appear for PS4 but this game definitely rocks!
