Released in 2001, Shenmue II is an action/adventure RPG, designed for Sega Dreamcast game systems. The video game introduces Ryo Hazuki, the son of a well-known martial arts master, who sees his father being murdered before his eyes by a Chinese man named Lan Di. To avenge the death of his father, Ryo will continue to track murderers and try to identify the motive for the murder throughout the game. Later on, Ryo arrives in Hong Kong (China) to continue his quest for revenge, but Lan Di managed to run just before his arrival. Furthermore, Ryo, under the guidance of his friend Master Chen, must regain the martial arts master Lishao Tao.
