Featuring the PosiDrive technology, this Polaris pool cleaner provides 50 percent more torque for more efficient cleaning. This Polaris pool cleaner uses 3-jets with an additional 40 GPM pool filtration through the filter bag. The Polaris 3900 Sport supports a 5-liter superbag, thereby giving you the freedom to clean larger areas in a single go. Additionally, this pool cleaner's superbag has a twist-release connector and full zipper access making it easy to remove and clean.

The rebuild kit was great, but the fact that it was necessary after one year, is disappointing
The rebuild kit makes the cleaner work better. An improvement over the component(s) that came with the original unit. However, it begs the question why the original unit wasn't as outstanding in the first place. We needed to replace the large part after one full year's use (the calendar year made the replacement outside the warranty period). Further, we had to open the original unit several times because the drive chain had fallen off the cogs.

Pump is fine, t hid s b B is 2nd rebuild kit for us... 1st worked ok for two seasons... this rebuild kit feels like needs rebuilding...be careful to save all packaging in case you need to return... you may just need new hose or time to junk the Polaris and go with something better. We’re done with trying to save this dead horse... looking at a dolphin or anything but Polaris

Just Like New Again
I can't tell you how many times we've taken the Polaris 3900 Sport into the "shop". It's always one thing or another, never the same thing twice, of course. This Rebuild Kit has made my Polaris run like new again and at 1/2 the price it would have cost at out local Pool Supply store. Well worth the price. Very easy to install too.

Polaris 3900 Pool Cleaner
This is like a fine-tuned racecar. If you think you are going to just drop this in your pool and it will work right out of the box; think again. That having been said, the 3900 is an infinitely variable masterpiece. It will climb steps, walls and effortlessly keep a random pattern that cleaned my pool in about 1-1/2 hours. Once you get the thing adjusted properly it maintains it's settings and then you can just drop it in and let it work. My pool is a 40,000-gallon pool that has many obstacles. The depth ranges from 3 feet to 11.5 feet deep. The 3900 keeps the walls scrubbed and the bottom spotless with no effort on my part. I only use it for about four hours a week and the pool stays clean. I have tried other pool cleaners in this pool without success but this one gets into every nook and cranny. The folks at Polaris really know what they are doing. Read the instructions carefully. Spend the time to adjust the 3900 properly and you will have many happy years with a clean pool.Read full review

Easy to install but necessary for Polaris after a few3 years
Replaces key components of Polaris drive. Unfortunately this rebuild is necessary periodically, a fact of life for Polaris which is designed to wear out after a few years.
