Polaroid made its name by developing the instant-print picture. They do not disappoint. The camera fits well into the hand and is substantial and comes in fun colors, or the serious black. The pictures are incredibly detailed and have rich and marvelous colors in them. The only disappointment is the size. They are approximately the size of a standard business card. This camera is the answer to those who are intimidated by the digital world that photography has become. We have too many pictures, but no prints. This gives you the print and in tremendous resolution. It is a very basic point and shoot camera that makes it impossible to take bad pictures. There are only two ways to improve this camera. First, make the prints larger. That would require a larger model, or a change in the film packet. The other is to combine the two worlds of print photographs and digital photographs by including a memory chip to make additional prints of the photos you especially like. If these two features would combine, it would rate five stars. Otherwise, this camera fully delivers on all of its promises. A very strong four stars!Read full review
I bought this camera for my 5-year-old's and 3-year-old's birthday party. I always set up some sort of art project, and this year, I took a polaroid photo of every person/family and then asked them to create a small scrapbook page and add it to a small photo album for each of the birthday kids. It was a fun project and one that would not be possible without Polaroid technology. A few notes: the party was outside and so it was necessary to adust the few light meter settingst that this camera allows you to change--but if you turn the camera off, then on again, the light settings revert back to some original standard. It took me several wasted shots before I realized what was happening, and the film isn't cheap. So, anytime you turn the camera off and walk away, when you return back and start taking pictures again, you'll want to adjust your settings again. At first, I thought the camera had been damaged by a slight drop and wouldn't hold it's setting adjustment, but that was not the case. Otherwise, it was a joy to take Polaroid pictures again. All of the adults felt nostalgic about seeing the film spring from the camera. The film is smaller than the original ones, but it's not a big deal. The film is not cheap, and so I feel careful about what we take pictures of--not something I think I like...but in this day of digital photo glut maybe it's not so bad.Read full review
i bought the camera about a month ago and i have loved every second of owning it. it came with pre-stocked batteries so no hassle on my end, 10/10 would recommend!
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
The camera is very easy to use and the pictures turn out fast and good quality. There are two problems though. The film is over priced (1.00 a picture). The pictures are pretty small. I don't even think the size is worth it. Its a about wallet size. I miss the good ole polaroid camera 600. This is like a wimpy version. I would rather buy a different camera with a bigger photos.
Very easy to use and really fun. I love that the polaroid still exists and you can instantly print a picture and give it to someone. With everything being digital now it's rare that I have a physical picture in hand. Film is still a little prices as the best price I can find is $10 for a roll of 10 pictures. $1 a print is expensive but the fun of the instant picture is totally worth it!
