I bought mine used, and it's a few years old so I'm sure the technology isn't the latest and greatest. It's also my first tablet, so I don't really have anything to compare it to (I am most definitely not an early adopter!). Having said all that, I am pleased with what I've seen so far. The touch screen looks good and is quite responsive to my touch, the detachable keyboard has a nice key action, and it attaches and detaches easily and with a positive feel to the lock mechanism. As for battery life, as I said I bought this used, so it's hard to tell just how well the battery is holding up compared to a new one, but when I start with the battery at 100%, after about 30 minutes of use, it still reads about 85 or 90%. That seems like a pretty good battery life to me. It also charges quickly. The Android 4.0.X Ice Cream Sandwich operating system seems to be a good one. Again, this is my first tablet so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's logical and seems to work well. No complaints. For me, the biggest plus of this tablet is the included GPS receiver. It turns the tablet into a giant Google Maps, which is really handy when you're in the car (I bought a car charger separately so I could use it for extended periods without having to worry about running out of battery power). I don't even know if ASUS still makes this tablet, but if you're considering one (new or used), I haven't experienced anything that would cause me to NOT recommend it. So far, I'm pleased with mine. Hope this helps!Read full review

This is the second one I've tried both with the same problems. The device is slow with to many errors. All apps keep stopping if they ever play. I have failed to ever watched a movie or get past it's app home screen. Great display!!(wallpaper). Buy the transformer t100t book! this version is garbage! The only reason I went for it was the rear camera(haven't used it yet, scared to be disappointed). I may find a kid to give it to to play with. If anyone out there with one and can tell me what went /is wrong or what is needed feel free to comment.

I am a technology person both in my professional and personal life. Tablets, smart devices, laptops, streaming boxes and computers are all within the scope of the gadgets I own. I can compare the Asus Transformer TF300T with the iPad and several other Android-based tablet brands I have owned, borrowed or used. The tablet is fast, stable, and boasts a very nice screen quality. It is in the same class as the other Transformer Tablets, but its resolution is only 1280X800 pixels compared to the higher, and more expensive, TF700T, which sports a 1920X1200 display. This tablet has a plastic body opposed to the metallic body and keyboard and the "Nvidia Tegra 3" processor is a bit slower than the higher device. I cannot really feel a major difference between the TF300T and the TF700T, although it would be untrue to say that the higher model is a tad faster under a load. The price point for this tablet is almost half the price brand new. The tablet has memory expansion on both the tablet and keyboard docking station. Both the tablet and keyboard docking station have a battery as well. The best feature of this device is its longevity. It can be upgraded to the latest Android OS by unlocking both the boot loader and rooting the device. I have only used a 32 GB Micro SD in the Tablet and a full-sized 32 GB SD Card in the keyboard dock. With aggressive use a charge with the dock attached will last over 8 hours and without the dock, it will do nearly 5 hours. In standby, it can go several days on a full charge of both the tablet and dock. I highly recommend this tablet for techies and people with an adventurous spirit. For light users who only use the tablet for email and occasional streaming of music and videos, it will do the job too! The durability is amazing. This tablet can last years, even if owned by a teenager or college student who takes it everywhere.Read full review

I’m from the old school – a PC/Windows user. I bought this TF300T out of my curiorcity at first but once it gets into my hand, I like it. Within an hour after receiving it, I managed to download apps and started using them. I should say this machine is user friendly. The display is excellent and fast, the camera takes good pictures although it may not beat my real camera. However, I miss the convenience in storing & retrieving data from a portable external hard drive. I suppose I could use the cloud storage but what if there is no internet connection available? However, the ASUS TF300T is a very nice system and it is great to have for writing notes with two languages at the same time.
For just all around use it could not be better. The speakers are good volume and quality sound. The program set up is excellent. Much better than Ipad. Quick response. Screen has outstanding clarity. I have two of these, one for my wife. Have compared to others and these arre #1 With the keyboard is high quality laptop.
