Its a very nice monitor. The best I have seen. Yes I have read about all the latest technologies and the curved 32inch ones. Yet, this does the job and the size of 27 inches is quite nice. I've enjoyed this monitor for about 2 years now and was happy enough with this particular model to buy a second one. As I've said there are better monitors out there but maybe more expensive. If you can't get the best this is a good model to look into.

The picture quality is incredible! Excellent gaming monitor because of the large vibrant screen. I ordered mine and paid about $350 in a local retail store for the monitor alone, and it was worth every penny! (Looks like I should have come to eBay first and saved a few bucks, but it was still worth it.) I would highly recommend this monitor to everyone who owns a computer or anyone who just wants to hook up a DVD or blu ray player via the HDMI input for phenomenal picture quality!
I've had mine for about 3 years. HP doesn't leap to mind as a monitor manufacturer, but it had the features I want. I have zero complaints. I came here looking to buy another. It resembles an Apple product; a Mini sitting next to it looks like a matched pair. I got mine new, somehow, for $110. Very happy with it. Only slight downer is it has no speakers. But it does have an analog audio out jack, and will pass audio via HDMI to external speakers. Some people complain that these are not 1440p, but I prefer 1080p. I am getting old, and i need the size more than I need the resolution!
