I purchased this as used in very good condition and product was received as advertized. This headphone is an on ear type not over ear so some pressure is felt over time and adjustment period might be required. The DT 1350 is built extremely well and the quality construction ensure there built to last a long time. The sound quality was a big surprise even though I had read many reviews but everyone's option varies online. I'm very happy with the purchase as the clarity and bass for a portable system that's easy to drive was impressive.
These are better than HD25 II's. Better than the terribly named Senn Amperior. These are currently the finest set of on-ear headphones with the best isolation I've ever had on a set. They are better than several cans I own that cost well over the $1000 mark. The isolation is truly noteworthy. I use a portable external amplifier to get the most out of these while travelling and I blast music on the metro/bus to work in full confidence that I'm not disturbing my fellow passengers. I then jack this into a home headphone hi-fi setup. Great clamping on the ears means these aren't going to fall off. This is great for drummers or any performer who needs isolated sound with lots of head movement. I own two pairs of these. One I purchased for full price and has the earlier earpads and headcushions. The latter version improves in terms of comfort and the parts are all easily replaceable. The only negative is that the cable is not removable. Worth getting a refurb pair as I believe these are refurbed in-house and QC'ed accordingly - makes for a hefty discount and even more attractive at that kind of price.Read full review

They're fairly flat sounding aside from some slightly accentuated high end up past 10khz, which really only serves as a "detail–exciter", making it a great pair of phones for working with or just noticing smaller, more subtle marks and sounds in the mix. Pros: As a bit of a "self-proclaimed audiophile" (like everyone else), I find it very interesting and fun listening to songs I've heard 100 times before for the first time on these new headphones, noticing new qualities that were fairly inaudible without these (or without any other tools I use for audio engineering. Just trying to be fair). They also, while being the smallest pair of adorable little headphones I own, are comfortable and light while also packing the most ambient noise isolation I've ever found in a pair of headphones. They're rated for 24db of isolation, but so is every other pair of headphones. For perspective, in my opinion, they do maybe 5db less isolation than the standard foam earplugs that everyone knows. Which is amazing. Only cons I've found: A little tight but not too bad, and it's a metal headband on these headphones, and metal can be bent, so go for it, as long as you're careful. I've already done it slightly and it's better for my head. With the high end treble increase comes the slight ear fatigue at high volumes, and while listening at high volumes is fun, you can feel it on your ears if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. However, it doesn't make it any less entertaining to me to hear new things with a very detailed pair of headphones, and nearly every audio output has the ability somehow or other to reduce the high end on what you're listening to, AND headphones get warmer with age after being worked in a bit… So take all this how you will. Only other con I can say is that I bought mine used, and the left size adjustment slider had it's metal "notch-selector", or whatever you call it, falling out with not too much for supplied. So… You know… I have a glue. Problem solved. Not something to complain about in my eyes, but maybe something to look up if it happens to this model headphone for everyone. I'd give them 4 stars for it if I didn't love them.Read full review

These are obviously designed and marketed to compete with the Sennheiser HD25. The HD has a V shape Sennheiser house sound which is smooth and warm, but lacking in details as they were designed in the '80s. The DT1350's sound is much flatter. Some listeners might considered it bright but that's because almost all headphones are warm and usually have elevated mid-bass because that's most people's idea of good headphones. A thumping bass. The DT-1350's bass is flatter and delved deeper than most headphones including the HD25. Its vocal is very clear and overall, these are the most realistic sounding headphones that I have heard. The treble is also not elevated and still very detailed. It could effortlessly handle a Mahler symphony at high volume. Beyerdynamic actually sell a version of these headphones for audiologists to test hearings. They are that accurate. Read full review

I travel a lot for work. Spend almost half the year on the road. I've Beyerdynamic 770 headphones at home. Love 'em. I have a particular taste in audio... like very balanced highs, mids, and lows... or a neutral profile. I do a bit of voice of work and prefer natural sounding audio. I needed some good travel headphones with those tonal qualities. These meet my requirements perfectly. Aside from the neutral sound, the Beyerdynamic DT 1350 headphones are very well made. They're constructed almost entirely of metal with real leather cushions for the over-the-head bands and ear cups. This is a stark contrast to the cheap plastic and synthetic leather construction typical of most the headphones from Sony, Sennheiser, and Bose. I ordered the straight cord version but received the Coiled Cord (or CC) version. I'm actually delighted with it. The CC version leaves me with less cord to fight with. I would say it's better if you plan to wear these on planes, buses, at the coffee shop, or even at your office desk. If you plan to DJ the straight cord is probably a better choice. Finally, and this is truly just icing on the cake, these headphones come with a nice travel case. It provides a bit of peace of mind knowing your headphones are protected in your bag between working locations.Read full review
