I've used this range finder twice since I bought it, and it seems to work find. The problems are with two things. The documentation is not very good. It's helpful, but does not go into much detail for all the functions the range finder does. Secondly, there are 4 buttons that must be pushed to get to different menus, and when you are out on the golf course, and new to the product, you don't know what buttons to push. I believe that the more you use the range finder, and by trial and error, it will be figured out. The company that makes Golf Buddy should either make better documentation or produce comprehensive videos to show how to get to the difference functions. But in all fairness, the range finder seems to be accurate and finds the golf courses very easily. Overall, a good product and it is worth the cost.Read full review

...Having used a handheld golf GPS unit before, I upgraded to the GolfBuddy WT3 watch..Excited to use this"newer" technology and hope it will improve my game..Easy to follow instructions and figure the watch out...arrived to play golf a hour ahead of time and turned on the watch to acquire the satellite tracking...waited for satellite tracking to take hold...and waited...and waited...and waited...turned it off and started over....and waited...and waited...Took it off the wrist and attached it to my cart....and waited...and waited...Won't bore you any longer than I already have....BUT....walking down the 7th fairway...I FINALLY got satellite confirmation and this golf course has been here for 40 + years!!!!!!!...I jokingly tried to sell my "NEW" toy to one of the guys in my foursome...No takers !!!...A huge bummer for my golf game today...When it finally acquired a satellite signal, the unit seemed to give the proper yardage...But by than I didn't pay much attention to the it...I played off the yardage markers on the golf course...Will give the watch another chance in a few days and see if I have any improvements with satellite acquisition..Was going to give one star but.....I did get satellite acquisition so I will give it 2 stars at this time !!!!Read full review

This is my first Watch style golf GPS. For the last 8 years I have been using a Sky Caddie GPS and it worked great. I charged the new GB-WT3 for 2 or 3 hours until the 'full battery' symbol displayed, as per instructions. However, when I went to play, it only lasted about 3 hours. Luckily we finished the round in about 3 hours. We were only 2 players. Today I am going to use it again but we will be 4 players and we usually play 18 holes in 4 to 5 hours. It all depends on how busy the course is. We have a group of about 16 players and we play in groups of 4. So I charged the device again when I got home for about an hour and a half. Today will be the second time I use it. We shall see. Thank you, Johnny Arsola.

GB is bulkier on wrist less than 2% difference in yardage GB is easier to set up especially on 27 hole course Has many additional features that require some tech practice would be handier on cart mount with quick release for hand carry I paid less than half for GB over the Garmin S1 four years ago

Very well made product for the avid golfer. Takes a little time to get used to, but the features are awesome for such a small device. Wrist band fits all sizes and is comfortable. Just don't forget it on the golf cart steering wheel... like I did :(... All in all, great product!
