Definitely pleased with these binocs! Read review after review on many brands looking for an affordable yet good pair. After reading the reviews on these, I decided to take the plunge and go for it. The best binocs I've ever owned were Bushnells. I thought they were decent but these Diamondbacks leave them in the dust. Love the fact that the lenses focus sharply on as close as 20 feet as well as up to almost 300 yards. Far away objects are pretty darn clear. Honestly, I've always had 2 pair of binocs. 1 smaller pair for up close and one for distance. I didn't know 1 pair could do the job of 2. Wouldn't call them light weight but not hanging a brick around your neck either Not bad. The case is actually decent. Not just a soft cloth enclosure. It actually has a firm shape that offers a fair level of protection. (Still wouldn't want to drop them tho). The lifetime unlimited warranty was the clincher for me. Love these but am looking forward to my next upgrade. Will be sticking with Vortex!Read full review

I was in denial of needing a new set of binoculars. I had a pair that was given to me 20 years ago, the eyepiece was broken and it wouldn't focus right but really other than that they worked well. I finally relented to the idea I was in need of a new set. I started the search and immediately noticed I had been living under a rock for those 20 years... Have you seen the prices of binoculars?! Yea I know I passed out too. I started hearing about Vortex. Their scopes were taking off for their quality in price, quality and clarity. Unfortunately for me I had nowhere close that carried them to check out before buying. I read some reviews watched youtube and thought why not. After a quick search on eBay I decided on the Diamond back 10x50. When it arrived at my home I was truly blown away at the afore mentioned quality and clarity of them!! I work in optics for a living, making Prescription lenses. I have for the past 13 years, So I KNOW clarity when I see it (pun). I was so impressed I bought my wife a set for when we go hunting. I am going to get my mom some very soon for her birthday. My recommendation is to stick with Vortex whether or not you get this exact model or another I am sure you will not be disappointed. I will say that I was somewhat disappointed with the case, as it is bulky to be taking in the woods and the cleaning cloth that it came with is a joke. Very trivial negatives I know, nevertheless that is the only issues I have with them.Read full review

The Vorte Diamondback 12x50 Binoculars are a good price for the magnification and extremely clear. A little on the heavy side compared to other manufacturers, but the design is easy enough for smaller hands to manipulate. Have not used it in the rain yet, will post later on how it holds up and whether it fogs up.

Excellent Binoculars, Very clear lenses even in low light conditions, Compact and Lightweight. Not built well for tripod use however, Very narrow between the objective lenses making it difficult to add an adapter for a tripod. The only adapter that works is the Uni-daptor by Vortex. Outdoorsman adapters will not work at all (not enough room). Excellent Binoculars for the money.

As is anything Vortex, these binos are fantastic. They are crystal clear and, for the size not excessively heavy (I've always liked a little heft in my binos because it seems easier to hold them still...in my opinion). All accessories that are included are quality, too. Definitely worth the money!
