Pros - A very cute storyline that keeps my grandson's attention. Cons - Grammar is sometimes incorrect. I'm trying to teach him to speak correctly, so I just change the words when necessary.

These books are wonderful to help develop a child's interest in learning to read and in becoming independent readers. I began reading these to my 3 and 4 year old grandson & granddaughter (respectively)and they couldn't get enough of Junie B. She is so real to life and thinks/speaks a language that only a child can identify with. While the books are written in a way that defies many of our written and spoken language rules, they are written to be totally understood and enjoyed by a child. My hat is off to Ms. Barbara Park.
