First of all the book was in perfect condition. The picture of the plates are great. It makes it so easy to plan a meal in the right proportions. I have used the book for 10 days so far and lost a few pounds already. I plan to keep going with it . The recipes are easy to make. Many good ideas on cooking too.

Most recipe books give you sections for entrée and side dishes so you pick your entrée then have to find a side dish...what a pain. This one includes full meal recipes together without having to search recipes for additional recipes that have the right amount of nutrition and that go with what you already picked. It's a no brainer. I find something I like and it includes the side dish. I've made 2 recipes so far. The steak ginger skewers and the seaside tacos. Both were very good and the recipes are not difficult or time consuming, at least so far.

If you have just been diagnosed with diabetes or have had it for some time, this is the cookbook for you. Many of the recipes use items that can be found in most kitchens, My husband (who is not diabetic) said he would have no problem eating any of the items in the book.
