I was not impressed with this book. John Edward practices PSYCHIC activity, necromancy,(talking with the dead) numerology, crystal gazing, etc. The Bible clearly states that necromancy is a sin and that we should not consult a medium, or psychic. I think he is either making this stuff up or is in contact with a evil spirit. Mostly I think he is out to make a fast buck. He uses a method called cold or warm readings. Check out some of the stuff people say about him being a fraud on the internet. Cold readings are where they make an educated guess about something about you, buy picking up clues, by what you say or do, or your appearance or age. If you tell them the information is wrong, they use a number of ways to distract you, for example some will tell you that they are getting information from a "playful" spirit that tells them false things, etc..... warm readings are where they have microphones in the studio before their show and they listen in, as people talk to friends that have come with them about deceased friends or relatives, and then they pick those people in the audience that they listened in on and use that information to make those people and others think they are getting a message from a spirit. I have tried a few of the CDs offered by some of the top mediums out there and I like this one the best. There are a lot of great exercises on the 6 CD set and everytime I do them I immediately notice an improvement in my mediumship and psychic abilities. Aside from the exercises he also gives good advice on Psychic Self Defense, How to Appropriately Conduct a Psychic Session and Mediumship Ethics. He also discusses Angels and Guides and how they can be of help. Great exercises for the beginner and intermediate student.
If you don't believe in this type of stuff, stay out of the area. eBay is NOT set up to fight over belief systems or slam different peoples beliefs or religion, etc. I know John is for real because I have had similar experiences since I was a young child. I could watch him on tv and I could see how he listened to the spirits that had passed on. He is NOT listening to evil spirits and he has a gift that is as evil as a telephone. People used to think trains were evil when they were invented because they thought the train would move so fast it would move your body forward and leave your spirit behind. If you don't believe, go back to the dark ages... or at least stay in your own area and out of Johns. I am suprised eBay will even publish slams where a person doesn't believe in what they are reviewing. db azRead full review
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT JOHN EDWARD HAS A LOT OF INTERESTING POINTS AND WELL I HAVE NOT FINISH LISTENING TO IT BUT SO FAR I LOVE IT I DISLIKE THAT THIS ARE CASSETTES BUT I AM OKAY I WILL LIVE AND I AM STILL ENJOYING IT
I am really enjoying the tapes i purchased developing your own psychic powers by john edward. Easy to listen to. I am a fan of John Edward.
