This Tarot deck is by Italian comic-book artist Milo Manara. It's a mixture of eroticism and fantasy. This deck is not for everyone, namely, minors and those offended by nudity or otherwise erotic images. Your use of the deck may be somewhat limited outside the bedroom or with a VERY close friend. I think the deck has great potential for couples exploring or deepening their relationship. The deck is the standard 78 cards, however, two of the Major Arcana cards have been renamed. The Wheel of Fortune and The Hanged Man become The Mirror and The Punishment. The suits have been renamed to their corresponding elements. Wands become Fire, Swords are Air, Cups are Water, and Pentacles are Earth. Manara seems to be able to convey the message of each element through each suit fairly well. He uses a nice combination of humor, sensuality, and mystery to convey the meanings of the cards. The LWB gives a very brief KEY WORD interpretation of each card, so if you're stumped look in the book and then look at the card again. Another handy key is that each card is marked with its astrological correspondence, which I thought was pretty cool. For me the deck is fun to read and has different symbolism which makes me think differently, which is what Tarot is all about, thinking about the situation in a different light. I believe the deck was done tastefully with nothing in really poor taste. After two or three times through the deck, I think you'll find you have a finely detailed and expressive deck.Read full review
