I would never pay full price for this dock; you can use show mode without the dock.Ive noticed myself using my tablet more since I now leave it stationed on a end table.now I find myself setting reminder,asking to see movie trailers plus much more.Did not expect to enjoy it as much as I do.My only con back cover is a bit slippery.

This stops the wear on the charging port socket. In my opinion all USB ports should offer something like this. It also keeps the charge up while using the stand to view anything. It does make the tablet thicker and harder for small hands to grasp, but no more than most drop protection would. I bought another for my wife's tablet and she also loves it.

Reasonably good alternative to the echo Show devices. Sound is much more tin'ie', but use of the tablet for browsing helps to make that acceptable. If you are wanting good sound reproduction, choose the echo show device, but if you use the browser a lot, the show device is just not good since it can't hold the app open
